Job Description
n
The Construction Economics team research and analyse economic and construction market data to assess the likely trajectory of construction costs for Turner & Townsend clients and their projects. These insights can be in a range of formats, including bespoke written reports, price indices, modelling, and presentations.
n
The role of the successful candidate will be to support the team with research, analysis, and development of these outputs for both clients and the internal business.
n
n
- Conducting research and analysis on global and local economic data,
n
- Sourcing key statistics and keeping the team's databases up to date,
n
- Tracking major construction projects across the country,
n
- Preparation of charts and graphs using key data,
n
- Assisting with writing commentary for client report and internal documents
n
n
Qualifications
n
We are looking for an individual who is:
n
n
- Minimum requirement is commencement of a Degree in Construction, Property Economics or other relevant degree qualification.
n
- Data-driven: you are comfortable working with Excel and large datasets and have a strong attention to detail.
n
- Curious and analytical: You are eager to ask questions, understand the "why" behind trends, and dig deeper into the drivers of change.
n
- Strong researcher: You are able to gather, interpret, and synthesise information from a variety of sources to support robust analysis.
n
- Collaborative and communicative: You are ready to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to team discussions with insight and initiative.Good verbal and written communication skills.
