Job Description
HRM Contracting and consulting – Caloundra QLD

We are seeking a Trainer to deliver Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills programs. This is a full time, permanent opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of participants building foundational skills for work, further study and everyday life.
n
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will develop, deliver and continuously improve engaging LLND training programs within a human centred learning environment. Day to day, you will:
n
n
- Deliver accredited training that builds participants' language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills to meet national specifications
n
- Establish and sustain a safe, inclusive learning environment that values diversity
n
- Adapt training resources and delivery styles to meet the needs of individual participants, referral agencies and program requirements
n
- Build strong relationships with local referral agencies, community organisations and employers to support participant engagement and retention
n
- Complete pre-training assessments and contribute to moderation and validation activities in line with RTO compliance requirements
n
- Maintain accurate records within RTO systems to support quality and continuous improvement
n
n

The regular work pattern would be Monday – Thursday (1.30-9.30pm) Fri 8.30-4.30pm.
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an equivalent higher education qualification in adult education
n
- TAESSS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set or TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set (or equivalent)
n
- A track record of strong learner engagement, retention and completion outcomes
n
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement, moderation and validation activities
n
- A flexible, adaptive training style suited to disadvantaged and culturally diverse participants
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and record keeping skills
n
- A satisfactory National Police Check (renewed every two years)
n
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children) or equivalent Working with Vulnerable People registration
n
n
