Our-owned and operated cafe located in Fortitude Valley is seeking experienced staff for the following position;

n

Barista all rounder x 2

n

Baristas are responsible for preparing various kinds of drinks in a rapid-paced hospitality settings.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Welcoming customers, taking their orders and handling payments
n
- Describing the differences in coffee beans and roasts to customers
n
- Grinding coffee using a coffee grinder and adjusting the grinder as needed
n
- Preparing espresso-based coffee drinks. Preparing other beverages, including tea, hot chocolate and frozen drinks
n

Duties:

n

n
- Keeping coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
n
- replenishing shelves and fridges with required items
n





n

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a busy cafe with great coffee
n
- A team player with a positive and professional communication style
n
- A barista with passion
n
- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Adherence to health and safety standards
n

Experience and Qualifications:

n

n
- A barista certification and two years' work experience, or three years' work experience for those without relevant qualifications' high volume
n

n
