Job Description

Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Fabricator to join our team delivering high-quality joinery. This role is focused on precision manufacturing, assembly, and hardware fit-off, with strong attention to detail, quality assurance, and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

n

Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

n

Safely use hand tools and static machinery to manufacture joinery

n

Assemble cabinetry, and joinery items to a high standard

n

Install hardware to joinery items (handles, hinges, pull-out systems, bins, etc.)

n

Mark out, cut, and shape joinery components accurately

n

Ensure all joinery is complete, finished, and ready for delivery to site

n

Liaise with the Workshop Manager, Project Manager, and internal team to confirm project requirements and specifications

n

Adhere to WHS requirements and company policies and procedures and external.

n

Maintain a clean and tidy work area; secure tools at end of shift

n

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment

n

Follow checklists, delivery lists,



and other QA systems

n

Support and train apprentices/trainees as required.

n

Actively contribute to the success of the team.

n

About You

n

4+ years industry experience in cabinet making/joinery

n

Strong workmanship, pride in quality, and attention to detail

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills effectively.

n

Reliable, organised, and able to meet production deadlines

n

Strong time management and ability to multitask

n

Proactive mindset—identifies issues early and supports continuous improvement

n

Physically capable of manual handling tasks as required

n

Qualifications & Licences

n

MSF31113 Cert III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent)

n

White Card (CPCWHS1001)

n

Class C Driver's Licence (manual preferred)

n
