Pay: $50 - $55 per hour (based on experience) + superannuation

The Garage Collective is seeking an experienced Senior Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Miami, QLD. This is a hands‐on role for a qualified tradesperson who can work independently, lead by example, and take complex jobs from diagnosis through to completion. You'll be the person the team turns to when a tricky fault needs sorting.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Carry out advanced diagnostics, servicing and repairs across a range of makes and models
n
- Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical and electronic faults
n
- Complete logbook servicing, brakes, suspension, steering and driveline work to a high standard
n
- Conduct vehicle inspections and roadworthy testing
n
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior mechanics
n
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
n




- Ensure all work is completed to Australian standards in a clean, safe workshop
n

Skills and Experience Required:

n

n
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
n
- Proven experience at a senior level with strong diagnostic skills
n
- Confident using contemporary diagnostic scan tools and software
n
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
n
- A safety‐first attitude and genuine pride in quality workmanship
n
- Strong communication skills and a team‐first mindset
n
