Our caravans are manufactured in-house from raw materials using advanced equipment and processes, including laser cutting, CNC pressing, router cutting and robotic welding.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer / Draftsperson with a thorough understanding and competency of SolidWorks to join our team.

n

Working closely with the production team, you will create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models to support the design, manufacture and assembly of our off-road caravans.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
n




- Interpret sketches, specifications and technical information to produce clear, practical manufacturing drawings for the production team.
n
- Create and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs).
n
- Program a variety of CNC machinery.
n
- Maintain drawing registers, manage revisions and ensure effective document control.
n

- Review drawings thoroughly to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
n
- Support quality assurance processes by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- A minimum of three years' drafting experience using SolidWorks.
n
- Strong CAD drafting and technical drawing skills.
n
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
- A motivated, proactive approach and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
n
- A reliable, honest and ethical approach to your work.
