Work for Council | Arborist Technician Level 5

We are looking for experienced Arborist Technicians who are reliable and enjoy providing high-quality arboricultural and tree maintenance services. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety, and the ability to ensure that all machinery and operations are conducted according to specific guidelines are essential for this role.

What you will need to exceed

n

Compulsory tickets/experience

n

n
- Qualification: Certificate V in Arboriculture (AQF Level 5) or equivalent.
n
- White Card: Work Safely in the Construction Industry (Current).
n
- MR/HR Licence: Minimum Medium Rigid licence required for operating heavy chipper units.
n
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in advanced rigging, climbing, and aerial tree works.
n

Highly regarded

- CWA (Controlled Working Area):



Experience or accreditation in CWA protocols.
n
- Chainsaw Tickets: Advanced trimming and cross-cutting (Level 1 & 2).
n
- EWP Ticket: High Risk Work Licence (WP).
n
- ACDC Licence: Commercial Operators Licence for chemical application.
n
- TMI/TMA: Traffic Management Implementation or Traffic Management Awareness.
n
- First Aid & CPR: (Including specialized aerial rescue training).
n
