About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the delivery of key SAP initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity based in Melbourne, where you will be responsible for managing project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance, and ensuring successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
n
- Manage SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, migration, or transformation initiatives.
n
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
n
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
n
- Facilitate project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
n
- Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations across business and IT teams.
n
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
n
- Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and best practices.
n




- Support change management and business readiness activities as required.
n

Required Experience

n

n
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager delivering large-scale SAP projects.
n
- Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex project environments involving multiple stakeholders.
n
- Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting skills.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
n
- Experience working within enterprise-level environments.
n
- Ability to drive project outcomes and manage competing priorities.
n

Preferred Experience

n

n
- Experience delivering projects across Manufacturing, Retail, Utilities, Construction, or other enterprise industries.
n
- SAP Activate methodology experience.
n
- Relevant Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
n
- Experience managing system integration partners and offshore teams.
n
