About The Role

n

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance team at our Moorooka flour mill in Brisbane.

n

The role is primarily Monday to Friday (rostered Day and Afternoon shift rotations), with an early finish on Fridays.

n

n
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across plant and equipment.
n
- Supporting breakdown repairs and minimising downtime.
n
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across mechanical and, where applicable, electrical systems.
n
- Supporting fabrication, fitting and repair work as required.
n
- Contributing to a safe, clean and compliant manufacturing environment.
n
- Following all food safety, quality, safety and site procedures.
n

About You

n

As an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter, we are looking for the following qualities:

n

n
- Relevant trade qualification required (e.g. Mechanical Fitter & Turner)
n
- Valuable understanding of and commitment to health and safety work practices
n
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
n




- Physically active, comfortable with regular stairs, carrying tools, equipment and general maintenance tasks.
n
- Electrical licence or Restricted Electrical licence to disconnect/reconnect capability is mandatory.
n
- PLC literacy or exposure is desirable but not essential.
n
- Prior maintenance experience in Food manufacturing or FMCG is desirable.
n
