South Coast Radiology (SCR) is seeking a flexible and motivated Medical Receptionist to work across our Southern Hub (John Flynn Hospital, Tweed Heads and our Nuclear Medicine Centre) or Northern Hub (Pindara Hospital and Benowa).

Your Day-to-Day:

n

As the first point of contact for patients,



you'll play a key role in delivering a high standard of care and ensuring clinic operations run smoothly.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Welcoming and checking in patients
n
- Answering phones and managing email enquiries
n
- Booking and rescheduling appointments using our RIS system (Karisma)
n
- Advising patients on preparation requirements
n
- Quoting fees and processing payments
n
- Handling DVA and third-party claims
n
- Supporting our clinical teams to provide smooth and efficient patient care
n

What You'll Bring:

- A warm, professional, and approachable personality
n
- Proven experience in reception, healthcare, or customer-facing roles (radiology experience a bonus!)
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
n
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations
n
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
n
- Confidence using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
n
