About the Role
n
Our client, a purpose-driven organisation in the not-for-profit sector, is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to provide strategic HR support across their operations. This is a full-time ongoing position.
n
You will work closely with stakeholders to build effective business partner relationships, advise on complex people matters, and support workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and recruitment. This is a unique opportunity to shape HR practices in a growing, values-driven organisation.
n
The organisation offers hybrid work options, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The role can either be based in their offices in Melbourne, Queensland or Sydney.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Partner with leadership and managers to deliver practical HR solutions and advice
n
- Lead workplace investigations, manage employee relations matters, and support industrial relations compliance
n
- Drive performance management, workforce planning, and recruitment initiatives
n
- Support onboarding, orientation, and staff development programs
n
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems
n
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaged workplace aligned with organisational values
n
n
About You
n
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role
n
- Broad experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning
n
- Solid problem-solving, coaching, and influencing skills
n
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
n
- Experience in the community, health, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable
n
