We are seeking a motivated Driller's Offsider to join our growing team.

This is a permanent local position based on the Gold Coast. This is not a FIFO role. Work is generally Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime when required.

Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
n
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
n
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
- Willing to work away from home when required
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Dogging, crane or forklift tickets
n
- White Card
n
- Experience in drilling, civil construction, earthmoving or a similar industry
n
n
Duties
n
n
- Assist the Driller with all drilling operations
n
- Load, unload and drive company vehicles
n
- Drive HR company trucks transporting drilling rigs, equipment and materials between project sites
n
- Handle drill rods, casing and drilling equipment
n
- Mix drilling fluids, cement and grout
n
- Clean and maintain drilling rigs, vehicles and equipment
n
- Assist with servicing and basic mechanical repairs
n
- Follow company procedures and site safety requirements
n
n
