ProQuest Recruitment is seeking experienced Trades Assistants and General Labourers to join an exciting warehouse fit-out project based in Ravenhall, commencing Monday, 3rd August.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the setup of a brand-new Distribution Centre, working alongside a supportive team on a variety of hands-on installation and warehouse improvement projects.

n

This is a 2-week project running from Monday, 3rd August through to Saturday, 16th August, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced trades assistants and labourers looking for immediate project work.

About the Role

n

You'll play a key role in preparing and fitting out the new Distribution Centre, including:

n

n
- Installing new drop shelves across 4-tier warehouse racking
n
- Flexi racking installation and modifications
n
- Module deployment throughout the warehouse
n




- Assisting with 5S implementation and warehouse organisation
n
- General labouring and installation duties
n
- Safe use of hand and power tools
n
- Working alongside the project team to achieve installation deadlines
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Current White Card (essential)
n
- Current National Police check or willing to complete
n
- Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, General Labourer or in a similar hands-on role
n
- A trade background or exposure to construction, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, shopfitting or similar industries (highly regarded)
n
- Confidence using hand and power tools
n
- Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
n
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
n
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
