Apprentice Electrician (2nd or 3rd Year)

Green Source is a leading VEU-accredited provider specialising in high-quality residential HVAC and Heat Pump solutions. With rapid and continued growth, we are expanding our installation team and are looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentice (Must Have basic HVAC installation experience) to grow with us.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Electrical Apprentice who wants hands-on experience in residential HVAC and Heat Pump installations while learning from experienced team leaders.

You'll assist with installations and maintenance across a variety of systems, gaining exposure to structured workflows, compliance-driven projects, and high installation standards — all while developing the skills needed to progress toward qualification and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist team leaders with the installation of VEU products, including:n n
- Heating & cooling systems
n
- Multi-head units
n
- VRF systems
n
- Heat pump systems
n

n
- Ensure all works meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
n
- Work efficiently with the installation team to meet scheduled timeframes
n
- Represent Green Source professionally on site and with customers
n
- Complete job notes and installation records accurately
n
- Assist with service calls and basic fault-finding
n
- Follow all safety, industry, and company procedures
n
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
n
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery
n

Must-Have Licenses/Certifications:

- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (completed or in progress)
n
- Basic HVAC installation Experience
n
- Driver's licence (minimum provisional)
n
- Own basic hand tools
n
