Salary - $72,000 to $78,000 per year commensurate with skills, experience and responsibilities.

Duties

n

n
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance to the shops, displays, shelving, racking and warehouse infrastructure.
n
- Helping with installation of shelves, displays and signage.
n
- Weeding and pruning garden beds and mowing around the work premises.
n
- Spraying weeds and whipper snipping.
n
- Window and door cleaning.
n
- Assisting with cleaning of walls, bathrooms and staff rooms.
n
- Removing rubbish and being responsible for bin/waste management.
n
- Assisting the warehouse with stock control.
n
- Operating a forklift.
n
- Blowing away leaves and dust with the leaf blower.
n
- Using power tools and maintaining them.
n
- Using an industrial floor cleaner.
n
- Window and door cleaning.
n
- General upkeep of facilities and tidying of outdoor spaces.
n
- Painting and decorating.




n
- Ensuring WHS procedures are followed.
n
- Support the team with general manual labour duties as required.
n

Essential

n

n
- At least one year of full time work experience as a Handyperson.
n
- Secondary education or higher.
n
- Forklift / High Risk Ticket.
n
- Drivers licence.
n
- Knowledge of power tools and their maintenance.
n
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
n
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety.
n
- Basic level of English language.
n
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
n
