About the role
n
The Dietetics Head of Department (HOD) is accountable for the provision of a high level of clinical service including independent qualified judgement in solving problems and managing complex issues.
n
As the Senior Clinician and Dietitian Manager, you will demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning skills in the provision of clinical care, operating independently with minimum direct clinical supervision.
n
By planning, implementing and reporting on services to promote effective and efficient clinical service delivery, you will identify opportunities for improvement and lead appropriate activities in order to improve clinical care.
n
Responsible for effective recruitment, leadership, management, development and performance of direct reports, you will also play an active role in development of positive and proactive team culture.

Bathurst Health Service is a Level C referral facility with 100 beds.
n
Bathurst Hospital Services include allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine, intensive care (level 4), general medicine, maternity (level 4), mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services.
