NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd has been producing gold in Northern Queensland since 2009. Located just southwest of Townsville, our Pajingo Gold Mine is a long-standing underground operation with a solid production history and a strong future.

We're currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to support the safe and efficient maintenance of our underground mobile equipment fleet.

n

This is a permanent, full-time role on a 7/7 roster. The position is based in Charters Towers, or DIDO with accommodation and meals considered for the right candidate. Quarterly bonuses are also offered.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Performing scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs and installations on underground mobile equipment

n

Completing work to a high standard to support equipment reliability and availability

n

Maintaining strong communication with supervisors, planners and operations teams

n





Assisting other trades and contributing to a cooperative and safe team environment

n

Participating in root cause analysis and improvement initiatives

n

Adhering to environmental and safety procedures at all times

n

What You'll Bring

n

Trade qualification – Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Mechanical)

n

Minimum 2 years' experience in mobile plant maintenance in a mining environment

n

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

n

A proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenance

n

Manual C Class Licence

n

Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently

n

Permanent role with a respected, long-standing gold operation

n

Modern underground fleet – Elphinstone, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Caterpillar

n

7/7 roster with a great lifestyle balance

n

Work locally in Charters Towers or DIDO with accommodation/meals
