Software Technical Architect - AI Transformation programme - Insurance space - Sydney.

12 month FTC - $190k - $200k + super.

A new opportunity for a Java focussed Tech Architect to join an insurance business's AI transformation programme.

n

This is architecture only - no coding, working on integrating current platforms to make sure AI-driven systems fit together properly, from data integration through to the wider tech stack.

n

Heavy focus on kafka, Java, Springboot, data integration patterns, coud and security.

n

I need someone who will be the go-to for dev teams when they hit technical roadblocks and have real influence over how this transformation program is architected long term.

Stack;

- - Java/Spring Boot background essential, Azure primary with some AWS
n




- - Strong grip on microservices architecture, Kafka, and data systems
n
- - Solid understanding of platform, cloud and security considerations
n
- - Comfortable owning solution designs and guiding integration decisions across systems
n

Insurance domain knowledge is needed as you'll understand how the business functions connect and fit together.

A normal week looks like;

40% working solution designs and integration patterns with dev teams

n

25% architecture governance across the AI transformation workstreams

n

20% platform/cloud and security alignment

n

15% unblocking dev teams and resolving technical bottlenecks
