We're looking for a passionate manufacturing leader to join our Colmslie leadership team and take ownership of our manufacturing operation within one of Queensland's leading fresh food manufacturers.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll lead all manufacturing operations across the site, ensuring we consistently deliver safe, high-quality products while achieving production, cost and service objectives.

n

You'll work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and P&C; to build a high-performing manufacturing culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

n

What You'll Be Responsible For

n

n
- Leading and developing site Supervisors and Team Leaders.
n
- Driving a strong safety-first culture across manufacturing.
n
- Delivering production targets while maintaining the highest quality standards.
n
- Improving OEE, labour productivity, waste and manufacturing efficiency.
n
- Leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
n
- Managing manufacturing costs and operational performance.
n




- Building leadership capability and succession within the manufacturing team.
n
- Working collaboratively across departments to support business growth.
n
- Leading manufacturing readiness for new products and operational improvements.
n
- Using operational data to drive performance and informed decision-making.
n

About You

n

n
- You'll be an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys developing people just as much as improving processes.
n
- You'll ideally bring:
n
- Extensive leadership experience within food manufacturing.
n
- Fresh food or short shelf-life manufacturing experience.
n
- Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing standards.
n
- Demonstrated success leading large manufacturing teams.
n
- Experience improving OEE, labour efficiency and manufacturing performance.
n
- A strong Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing mindset.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- The ability to influence, coach and build high-performing teams.
n
