We are seeking a reliable and hands‐on Maintenance Facilities Officer to help keep our campuses running smoothly by creating a secure, welcoming and well‐maintained environment for our students.

More about the role:
n
General maintenance - complete day‐to‐day repairs, basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing and general upkeep.
n
Facilities inspections - carry out regular checks of buildings, classrooms, equipment and outdoor areas.
n
Contractor support - assist with scheduling and supervising external trades and service providers.
n
Safety & compliance- maintain logs, support WHS processes and ensure facilities meet regulatory standards.
n
Event setup - prepare spaces for school events, assemblies and community activities.
n
Grounds care - support gardening, outdoor maintenance and general presentation of the campus.
n
Responsive support - action maintenance requests promptly and assist with urgent repairs.
n
About you:
n
Practical, proactive and able to troubleshoot issues independently
n
Comfortable working in a school environment
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Experience in maintenance, trades or facilities roles
n
Commitment to safety, compliance and high‐quality work
n
Trade certificate preferred
