About the Role

n

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Installation, servicing, testing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems
n
- Fault finding, repairs and commissioning of fire alarm systems
n
- Completing routine inspections in accordance with Australian Standards
n
- Preparing accurate service reports using electronic reporting systems
n
- Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high safety standards
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current QBCC Fire Protection - Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Licence
n
- Demonstrated experience servicing and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 1851 and AS 1670)
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n




- Blue Card
n
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with leading fire alarm systems including Notifier, Honeywell, Tyco, Ampac, Vigilant, FIP or similar
n
- Open Cabler Registration
n
- First Aid certification
n
- EWP and Working at Heights tickets
n
