Help Build the Best Dental Practice on the Mornington Peninsula
n
Most Dental Assistant positions are about filling a vacancy.
n
This one is about helping build something special.
n
Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic has a clear goal:
n
To become the best dental practice on the Mornington Peninsula.
n
Not the biggest.
n
The practice that patients trust most.
n
The practice that delivers an exceptional patient experience.
n
The practice where team members feel valued, supported and proud of where they work.
n
The practice that people want to join and never want to leave.
n
We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who wants to be part of that journey.
n
Someone who takes pride in their work.
n
Someone who notices the little things.
n
Someone who enjoys helping others succeed.
n
Someone who wants to contribute to a positive culture and a high-performing team.
n
Someone who wants to look back in a few years' time and say: "I helped build that."
n
THE ROLE
n
You'll be right at the heart of the clinical team, working chairside with our dentists to deliver a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
- Providing skilled chairside assistance across a full range of general dentistry
n
- Preparing and setting up surgeries for each appointment
n
- Managing infection control and sterilisation to a high standard
n
- Keeping patients comfortable, informed and at ease throughout their visit
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and records
n
- Ordering and managing stock and supplies
n
- Supporting the smooth running of the day, from patient flow to turnaround between appointments
n
- Working closely with reception and the wider team to keep things running well
n
n
You'll be someone who takes real pride in getting the detail right, who patients feel comfortable with,
and who the rest of the team can rely on.
n
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
n
n
- Experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
n
- Full or Part Time
n
- Strong chairside assisting skills and a genuine interest in providing great patient care
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to consistency
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational abilities
n
- A positive influence on team culture
n
- A person who genuinely cares about patients, colleagues and the quality of their work
n
- Someone keen to keep learning and building on their skills, whether that's four-handed dentistry, new systems or current areas of clinical support
n
n
We are less interested in how many years you've worked and more interested in the impact you've had.
n
WHAT WE OFFER
n
n
- Above-award pay based on experience and capability
n
- A genuine leadership opportunity
n
- Ongoing professional development and mentoring
n
- Access to Dental Business Mastery training and support

n
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
n
Many practices talk about culture.
n
Many practices talk about teamwork.
n
Many practices talk about excellence.
n
At Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic, we're investing in making those things a reality.
n
We're investing in our people.
n
We're strengthening leadership.
n
We're creating clear standards.
n
And we're looking for team members who want to be part of building something they can be proud of.
n
If you're looking for somewhere to simply turn up, do your job and go home, this may not be the right fit.
n
If you're excited by the idea of helping shape the future of a practice and contributing to something bigger than yourself, we'd love to hear from you.
