Job Description

MSS Security is seeking a Full Time Reliever Security Officer to join our team at Monash University in Caulfield.

n

Duties include but are not limited to:

n

Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.

n

Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.

n

Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.

n

Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.

n

Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.

n

Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.

n

Ideal candidates will have:

n

Solid customer service skills and a professional presentation.

n

Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.

n

Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.

n

Requirements:

n

Full Australian working rights.

n

Valid Victorian Security licence.

n

Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.

n

Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).

n

First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
