We are seeking suitably qualified, passionate and engaging Relief Teacher Assistants to join our Secondary Learning Support team. This is a casual, relief role (Term Time) providing appropriate instruction, care and support for students with identified needs. As a Teacher Assistant in our Secondary School, you will be contributing to an exceptional learning environment that promotes the strong aims of an independent Christian School.

Key Responsibilities include:

n





- Knowing and connecting with students in a manner according to their identified needs
n
- Working collaboratively with the Learning Support Leader and classroom teachers for in-class support, deliver set programs and provide adjustments for individual students
n
- Use initiative to modify and implement programs
n
- Uphold the College's classroom behavioural management system
n

To be successful, you will have:

n
- Certificate III in Education Support (or higher relevant qualification)
n
- Experience in assisting students, under teacher guidance, in the areas of Numeracy,Literacy and other areas as required
n
- Experience working with students with learning difficulties
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote
n
- Current Blue Card
n
- An active Christian faith and solid Christian character
n
