An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a leading FMCG organisation. Reporting directly to the General Counsel you will join a collegiate legal team, working closely with stakeholders and providing general commercial advice across the business.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
n
- Providing expert advice on consumer protection and privacy law
n
- Providing advice on franchising obligations
n
- Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues and compliance
n
- Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.
n
n
About You
n
n
- Ideally 5-8 years PQE gained from a reputable firm or leading in-house organisation
n
- Robust contract drafting and contract review skill set as well as commercial acumen
n
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate with all levels of stakeholders
n
- Previous experience in FMCG and/or retail (highly regarded)
n
- A proactive, self driven approach.
n
n
