Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our growing construction team. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating, with training and mentoring provided by experienced professionals.

3/5 days per week with the possibility to increase days if successful.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and tender submissions.
n
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
n
- Perform quantity take-offs and measurements.
n
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
n
- Prepare bills of quantities and cost reports.
n
- Maintain estimating databases and project records.
n
- Support the Senior Estimator throughout the tender process.
n

Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
n




- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam.
n
- Previous construction, trade, or site experience.
n
- Valid driver's licence.
n

n
