We're currently looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining our fleet of plant, machinery and equipment, ensuring everything is operating safely, efficiently and reliably.

About the Role

n

Working closely with Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, with a strong focus on small engines, construction plant and machinery.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Diagnose, service and repair small engines, plant and machinery.
n
- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance across our equipment fleet.
n
- Perform repairs on both mobile and stationary equipment.
n
- Inspect equipment for faults, wear and safety concerns.
n
- Identify major repairs or replacement requirements and report these to management.
n
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
n
- Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs.
n
- Manage workshop inventory, tools, parts and consumables.
n




- Assist with ordering replacement parts and equipment.
n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Experience repairing and servicing small engines (essential).
n
- Mechanical trade qualifications (preferred but not essential for the right candidate with proven experience).
n
- Experience working on construction, industrial or mobile plant equipment.
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workshop.
n
- A current driver's licence.
n
