Your new role
n
We are currently partnering with a range of clients, including local hospitals, maintenance providers, and residential and commercial contractors. As a qualified electrician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
- Testing and tagging equipment
n
- Rough in and fit out of commercial electrical systems
n
- Home rewires and refurbishments and full-scale renovations
n
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
n
- Diagnosing and fault-finding on electrical systems
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
n
- Installing conduits, switchboards, panels, wiring, switches, and electrical components
n
- Performing upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems
n
- Commissioning and testing new installations
n
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes,
standards, and safety regulations
n
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in a timely manner
n
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting of completed work
n
n
What you'll need to succeed
n
n
- White Card
n
- Current CPR/LVR certification
n
- Own hand and electrical tools
n
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
n
- Satisfactory employment references
n
- Recent experience in electrical work
n
- Australian Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
n
- Elevated Work Platform (under or over 11m)
n
