Business Development Manager – VIC (Asset Finance)

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-focused and results-driven professional to join our Partnerships & Market Development team as a Business Development Manager (VIC).

n

This exciting role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with our accredited finance broker network across Victoria, while actively identifying and onboarding new brokers to Morris.

n

The successful candidate will become a key ambassador for the Morris brand, educating brokers on our products and processes, assisting with commercial lending scenarios, and driving sustainable growth across the Victorian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Execute sales and business development strategies that support company growth objectives and sales targets.
n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accredited Finance Brokers, Aggregators and key industry stakeholders.
n
- Identify, engage and onboard new brokers across Victoria.
n
- Educate brokers on Morris products, policies, credit appetite and application processes.
n
- Respond promptly to broker enquiries and provide effective solutions for loan scenario discussions.
n
- Partner closely with Credit Assessment and Settlements teams to ensure exceptional broker and customer experiences.
n
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and presentations with brokers throughout Victoria.
n
- Promote the Morris brand through active engagement with industry associations, broker groups and networking opportunities.
n
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to increase market share and broker engagement.
n
- Produce accurate and insightful activity, pipeline and performance reports for senior management.
n
- Contribute positively to team culture while consistently demonstrating Morris values and professional standards.
n

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in a sales,



relationship management, credit or finance broking role within financial services, ideally within Asset Finance.
n
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills.
n
- Robust commercial acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
n
- A passion to hit targets.
n
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
n
- High-level organisational and time management capabilities.
n
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
n
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking (desirable).
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential).
n
