McCosker Contracting is seeking a Software Developer to join our team working in our Brisbane office.

About the role

- Monday to Friday roster 42 hours per week 12 month contract, with potential for ongoing work
n
n
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the internal business systems that support McCosker's operations. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of IT professionals, building and integrating software solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of technology across the business.
n
To be successful you will have:
n
n
- Experience developing web applications using Next.js and React
n
- Experience building back-end services and APIs using Node.js
n
- Experience writing and optimising SQL queries and working with relational databases
n
- Experience using Git for version control
n
- Experience using Docker for building and deploying applications
n
- Excellent understanding of software development principles and best practice
n
- Able to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
n
n
The following skills / experience will be highly advantageous:
n
n
- Experience managing MSSQL databases
n
- Experience integrating with or supporting ERP systems
n
- Experience scripting with PowerShell
n
- Knowledge of the civil construction industry
n
n
