Role

Our client is seeking a Consultant to join their General Medicine Department. Lead the management of a wide range of complex cases, provide clinical guidance and mentorship to junior doctors, and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care across the service.

This location:

- Employs more than 3,500 staff, serving a region covering nearly a quarter of Victoria
- Operates over 650 beds,



providing care to 42,000+ inpatients annually
- Manages around 50,000 emergency presentations each year
- Welcomes approximately 1,400 births annually
- Features a 20-bed intensive care unit for critical care needs
- Provides an 80-bed integrated psychiatry facility
- Houses 11 operating theatres, performing close to 13,000 surgical procedures annually

Requirements

To apply you must either be:

- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Internal /General Medicine
- OnRACP training program
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG'swith RACP interview date
- IMG's assessed by RACPand found to besubstantially comparable.
