Job Description
Wanted: Speech Pathologists Who Believe People Come Before KPIs
n
Various Locations | Full-Time or Part-Time
n
Some employers advertise "supportive culture." Others actually build one.
n
This is one of those rare opportunities.
n
We're working with a provider that believes Speech Pathologists should spend their time changing lives, not chasing unrealistic KPIs or sitting behind a laptop completing endless paperwork.
n
They've built their service around one simple idea:
n
When clinicians are genuinely supported, participants receive better outcomes.
n
Funny how that works.
n
The Role
n
You'll work with children and adults across the community, helping people communicate with confidence, improve swallowing, build independence and achieve goals that genuinely matter to them.
n
No conveyor belt appointments. No feeling like another number.
n
Just quality therapy delivered alongside a multidisciplinary team that actually enjoys working together.
n
Why You'll Actually Want This One
n
You'll be trusted. Nobody's standing over your shoulder counting every six-minute block of your day.
n
You'll continue growing.
n
Whether you're early in your career or highly experienced, you'll receive mentoring, supervision and professional development that supports where you want your career to go.
n
You'll work alongside great people. Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners who genuinely collaborate rather than simply share an office.
n
Administration won't consume your life. Good systems mean more time working with participants and less time battling paperwork.
n
Flexibility actually means adaptable arrangements designed around delivering quality care while supporting your work‐life balance.
n
Who We're Looking For
n
You're someone who enjoys building genuine relationships.
n
You understand that communication isn't simply about words.
n
It's about confidence. Connection. Participation. Quality of life.
n
You'll also have:
n
n
- Current Speech Pathology Australia registration (or eligibility)
n
- Experience working within disability, community or paediatric settings (desirable)
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
n
- A genuine passion for helping people achieve meaningful outcomes
n
n
Most importantly...
n
You care about people.
n
The technical skills can always keep growing. Character is much harder to teach.
n
What This Isn't
n
Let's save everyone some time.
n
This isn't a clinic where you're expected to hit impossible KPIs.
n
It isn't somewhere you'll be left to figure everything out yourself.
n
It isn't a business that talks about culture while burning people out.
n
And it definitely isn't a place where profit comes before participants.
n
Why Change Roles?
n
Because your career deserves more than "good enough."
n
You deserve to work somewhere that invests in your growth, values your clinical judgement and gives you the time to provide the quality therapy your participants deserve.
n
If you've been wondering whether there's a better way to practise Speech Pathology...
n
There is.
n
And we'd love to tell you more.
n
Sometimes the right role isn't the one everyone is applying for... it's the one nobody knows about yet.
n
Additional information
n
n
- Genuine Career Growth
n
- Immediate Start
n
- Great pay and employer
