Warehouse Assistant - Permanent Part-Time

Take ownership of stock replenishment in our friendly Burleigh Heads warehouse, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly small team at our Burleigh Heads warehouse.

n

About the role

n

This is a hands-on warehouse position with primary responsibility for managing our backstock - the large cartons of products stored on our warehouse racking - and ensuring our picking shelves are regularly and accurately replenished.

n

You will have plenty of independence and the opportunity to take ownership of your area, organise your workload and make the role your own. Because we are a small business and warehouse team, reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.

n

The regular working hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Managing and organising cartons of backstock on warehouse racking
n
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishing picking shelves as required
n
- Safely operating a hydraulic lifting machine to access stock stored at height
n
- Lifting, carrying and moving large cartons weighing up to 20 kg
n
- Assisting with unloading shipping containers and incoming deliveries
n
- Participating in stocktakes and inventory checks
n
- Helping to identify and resolve stock discrepancies
n




- Assisting with picking and packing customer orders when required
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse
n
- Working collaboratively with the wider warehouse team
n

About you

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance
n
- Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying cartons weighing up to 20 kg
n
- Comfortable working at height using a hydraulic lifting machine
n
- A self-starter who can work independently and manage their own workload
n
- Organised and able to maintain accurate stock locations
n
- Proactive and willing to identify what needs to be done
n
- A positive team player who is happy to assist wherever required
n
- Safety-conscious and comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment
n
- Able to follow instructions while also taking ownership of the role
n
- Legally entitled to work in Australia
n

Previous warehouse, inventory or stock-replenishment experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Training on the hydraulic lifting machine will be provided if required.
