The Role

n

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents. You will coordinate and manage care plans, supervise care staff, and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards. This Full-Time role involves direct care responsibilities, collaboration with allied health professionals, and a robust focus on enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide resident-centred care in accordance with care plans and individual preferences.
n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans in consultation with residents.
n
- Supervise and mentor personal care staff to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
n
- Manage clinical procedures within your scope of practice and organizational policies.
n
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and safety regulations.
n
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care.

Qualifications and Experience:

n

n
- Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration.
n
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential aged care setting (2 years preferred).
n
- NDIS Worker Clearance- MANDATORY https://workerscreening.dsdsatsip.qld.gov.au/
n
- Police Check
n
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and commitment to resident-first care.
n
- An understanding of the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS)
n
- A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care
n
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
n
- Compassionate and Empathetic nature
n
