We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly Pool Attendants to join Federation Council's Corowa Aquatic Centre and Howlong Pool who have the following attributes:

Role Description
n
This role is primarily responsible for day-to-day operational tasks that ensure pool facilities run effectively and efficiently. In this role, you will:
n
n
- Carry out customer service and administration duties.
n
- Perform basic food preparation and service.
n
- Inspect and monitor pool facilities to identify and respond to faults and hazards.
n
- Undertake facility patrols to monitor activities of patrons and enforce pool rules.
n
- Provide first aid, and administer CPR as required.
n
- Conduct pool water sampling, pool, and facility cleaning.
n
n

Position Criteria
n
Council's preferred candidates will ultimately possess a range of the following qualifications, experience, skills, and knowledge:
n
n
- Current and valid Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) qualification or the ability to acquire.
n
- Current and valid NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal Check.
n
- Safe Food Handling Certificate or the ability to acquire.
n
- Proficient customer service skills including the ability to respond to enquiries, build rapport, manage complaints, and resolve conflict.
n
- Previous experience with point of sales and cash handling and/or basic food service.
n
- Previous experience cleaning and presenting facilities.
n
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and make decisions independently.
n
- On-the-job training and support will be provided for all successful candidates.
n

- Salary commencing at $38.50 per hour including casual loading (for 19 years and over). Junior rates apply to 18 years and under. Weekend work is paid at the base rate + penalty rates.
