Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) – Melbourne

Gen Z Trade Group is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, switched-on Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. We work closely with real estate agencies across Melbourne, completing rental minimum standards checks and a wide range of residential maintenance works.

About the Role

n

You'll attend residential properties across Melbourne to carry out:

n

n
- Rental Minimum Standards safety checks
n
- General property maintenance and repairs
n
- Hands-on tasks including tiling repairs, plastering/patching, hanging doors, and painting
n
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work (within licence limits)
n
- Quoting, reporting, and job updates via our system
n
- Ongoing communication with our office team and property managers
n

n

About You

n

To be a great fit, you will have:

n

n
- Proven handyman or maintenance experience
n
- Solid, hands‐on ability across tasks such as tiling, plastering,



door installs/adjustments, and painting
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in neat, quality workmanship
n
- The ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
n
- Positive communication and customer service skills
n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Experience working with real estate agencies (preferred but not essential)
n
