We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Westside Medical Centre in Port Macquarie. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. We can accommodate a part-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment and contribute to the provision of excellent primary care services to the Port Macquarie community.

What you'll be doing

- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with the 15 GPs who practice at Westside
n
- Implementing evidence-based nursing practices to ensure the highest standards of patient care
n
- Assisting with minor medical procedures
n
- Providing wound care, immunisations, injections, and health screenings
n
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans
n
- Providing health education and promoting preventative care to patients and their families
n
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to patient‐centred care and contributing to a positive, team‐oriented work environment
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and experience in a general practice or community nursing setting
n
- Availability to work on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's.
n
- Robust clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously, while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic, patient‐centred care
n
- Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload and prioritising competing tasks and demands
n
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement of nursing practices
n
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in community and primary care nursing
n
