Assistant Strata Manager | Learn from the Director | Build Your Own Portfolio

Our client is a progressive and well-established strata management company with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Strata Manager to work directly alongside the Director.
n
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with strata experience who is looking to be trained, mentored, and developed into a Strata Manager. Working alongside an experienced Director, you'll receive hands-on training across all aspects of strata management while gradually building the knowledge, confidence, and skills required to manage your own portfolio.
n
Initially, you'll assist with the management of a small portfolio while learning the day-to-day responsibilities of the role. As your experience grows, you'll progressively take ownership of your own portfolio with the continued support and guidance of the Director.

Working within a collaborative team, you'll receive ongoing mentoring, excellent administrative support, and exposure to a wide variety of residential and mixed-use schemes.
n
About the Role As the Assistant Strata Manager, you will work closely with the Director, assisting with the day-to-day management of a small portfolio while undertaking structured on-the-job training and mentoring to become a successful Strata Manager.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Assist the Director with the management of a small portfolio of residential and mixed-use strata properties.
n
- Build strong relationships with owners, committees, contractors, and key stakeholders.
n
- Assist with preparing for and attending AGM, EGM, and committee meetings.
n
- Learn and develop your knowledge of strata legislation, compliance, governance,
and by-laws.
n
- Coordinate maintenance requests and contractor works.
n
- Assist with insurance renewals, budgets, levy administration, and general portfolio management.
n
- Respond promptly to owner enquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
n
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
n
- Gradually take on increased responsibility as you develop your skills and build your own portfolio.

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience working in strata management as an Assistant Strata Manager or similar role.
n
- A genuine passion for developing a long-term career in the strata industry.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- A proactive, positive, and qualified attitude.
n
- Current Class 2 Strata Managing Agent Licence (or currently working towards obtaining it).
n
