Job Description

In reflection of current projects being awarded, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Project Engineer to join a leading organisation with local operations in Newcastle. The projects include Commercial and Residential works from $2-$20M.

Key Responsibilities:

n

As the Project Engineer, you will be supporting the Site Manager and the Project Manager with the following,

n

n
- Assist with project programs and schedules
n
- Working with the Estimating team during tender phase, issuing and reviewing RFI's, negotiating with sub-contractors.
n
- Contracts administration, managing variations and issuing invoices
n
- Coordinate with subcontractors and relevant authorities
n
- Providing support to the Site Supervisors, with relevant documentation, ITP's and WHS requirements
n
- Overseeing on-site inductions and managing SWMS
n

Your Experience:

n

n
- Demonstrated knowledge across the Building works across Commercial & Residential, ideally exposure to Civil works.
n
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications or Trade background
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
n
- Motivated team player and ability to work autonomously
