Position: Mechanical Engineering Technician

n

Location: 46 Bentley St, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164

n

Salary: $79,5 00 to 85,000 + Super

n

Minimum requirements:

n

n
- AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree a with 1-2 years of experience working in a similar position
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Create CAD generated bill of materials for purchasing
n
- Participate and make decisions for selection and procurement of correct moving parts, selection of piping materials and pipe qualification.
n
- Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
n
- Performing and directing field and laboratory tests
n
- Collecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams
n
- Produce concept designs through to detailed workshop drawings for manufacture.
n
- Prepare various Skid designs to suit mechanical equipment.
n




- Prepare alternative designs to provide option to client.
n
- Preparing drawings, plans and designs for mechanical engineering work
n
- Perform hands-on testing, installation, and assembly of mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
n
- Assist engineers in the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and prototypes.
n
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
n
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions
n

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- High degree of drafting skills is required
n
- Understand and thrive in a high compliance, process driven workplace.
n
- Design Drawings/ execution is mandatory.
n
