About the role

n

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our residential property management operations. As Property Manager, you will be the key point of contact for property owners and tenants, overseeing the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring all properties and tenancies are managed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

n

Managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations

n

Liaising with property owners to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on property performance

n

Handling tenant inquiries, complaints and maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner

n

Conducting property inspections, including initial inspections, regular inspections and end-of-lease inspections

n

Coordinating maintenance and repairs, obtaining quotes and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

n

Managing rental collections and ensuring timely payment of rent from tenants

n

Preparing and issuing tenancy documentation, lease agreements and other legal paperwork

n

Addressing vacancies through marketing properties and coordinating tenant applications and approvals

n





Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all properties, tenancies, financial transactions and communications

n

Ensuring all properties comply with relevant safety, health and building standards

n

Liaising with real estate agents, tradespeople, legal advisors and other service providers as required

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience in residential property management, ideally managing a diverse portfolio of properties

n

Strong knowledge of Victorian tenancy laws, regulations and property management compliance requirements

n

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously

n

Professional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with property owners, tenants and service providers

n

Sound financial management abilities, including experience with rental collections and property accounting

n

Proficiency with property management software and general computer systems including Microsoft Office

n

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle tenant and owner issues diplomatically and professionally

n

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

n

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to properties as required

n

Certification in property management or relevant qualifications is highly desirable
