About You:

n

You're a confident, capable team player who thrives in dynamicenvironments. You're agile, focused and most importantly, you're passionateabout making a difference.

To fly with us as a Line Pilot you will have theessential requirements of:

n

n
- Australian CPL with ATPL subjects
n
- Multi engine command instrument rating
n
- Class 1 Medical
n
- Total time - 2500 Hours
n
- Total time in command - 2000 Hours
n
- Total time in command - multi engine – 500 hours
n
- Night experience - 100 Hours
n
- Australian citizenship, residency or an approvedwork visa
n

In addition, it is desirable for our Line Pilots topossess:

n

n
- Remote area flying experience
n
- Preferred 4 instrument proficiency checks
n
- Turbine experience is preferred but not required
n
- Past experience in working shifts over a 24-hourperiod
n

n

The RoyalFlying Doctor Service (RFDS) South Eastern Section is part of one ofAustralia's most respected and trusted organisations, providing 24-houremergency aeromedical retrievals and essential healthcare to people living andworking in remote, rural, and regional communities. We also deliver acomprehensive range of primary and preventative health services — including GPand nurse clinics, dental care, mental health support, alcohol and other drugcounselling, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and telehealth. Ourpilots play a critical role in this mission, operating in challenging andrewarding environments to ensure patients, clinicians, and essential equipmentreach some of the most remote parts of Australia safely and efficiently.

As a part of the CivilAviation Safety Regulations the role requires pre-employment drug and alcoholtesting. Candidates are required to hold an Aviation Security IdentificationCard (ASIC), a current Driver's Licence and must undergo working with childrenand police checks. Some of our contracts require evidence of immunity orvaccination against certain diseases.
