We are supporting a growing Australian organisation with a strong pipeline of investment opportunities. As the business continues to expand, they are looking to appoint a Lead Financial Modeller to join their commercial team.

The Role:

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Modeller to lead and mentor a team of Analysts while overseeing the delivery of high-quality financial modelling across the business.

n

You will take ownership of the corporate financial model and play a key role in supporting acquisitions, new investment opportunities, asset valuations and strategic business decisions.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of Analysts
n
- Oversee the quality and delivery of financial modelling across the team
n
- Own and continuously enhance the corporate financial model
n
- Build and review financial models to support acquisitions,



investment opportunities and asset valuations
n
- Prepare financial analysis, business cases and board reporting to support strategic decision making
n
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support commercial growth initiatives
n

About You:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team within a financial modelling workplace
n
- Strong financial modelling and valuation experience, including DCF analysis and investment appraisal methodologies
n
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
n
