We are seekingDevOps Engineerto join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successfulDevOps Engineerwill play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining secure, automated build, release and infrastructure deployment pipelines within a secure cloud environment. The successfulDevOps Engineerwill secure aninitial contract until June 2027with 1x12 monthextension options, based inCanberra, ACT.

The DevOps Engineerwill be responsible for but not limited to:

n
- Designing, implementing and maintainingCI/CDpipelines
n
- Developing and managingInfrastructure as Code (IaC)to configurecloudenvironments
n
- EmbeddingDevSecOpspractices and integrating security controls into delivery pipelines
n
- Implementing environment configuration management and release management processes
n
- Collaborating withcloudplatform,



security and network teams
n

The DevOps Engineerwill have experience in the following:

n
- Prior experience designing and maintainingCI/CD pipelinesin securecloudenvironments
n
- Demonstrated experience withInfrastructure as Codeand automated infrastructure provisioning
n
- Experience embeddingDevSecOpspractices and security controls into delivery pipelines
n
- Knowledge of configuration management, version control and release management practices
n
- Experience supportingcloudmigrationand platform modernisation initiatives
n

This is an exciting opportunity for aDevOps Engineerlooking to join an innovative Federal Agency.This long-term chance (up to a 2-year engagement) offers anexcellent workingenvironmentandcompetitive contracting rates. A non-ongoing fixed term arrangement is also available if preferred.
