About the Role:

We areseekingdedicated and resilient Support Workers to join ourCommunityteam in Redbank Plains, supportinganNDIS participant with complex behavioural support needs.You'llbe part of a skilled and consistent team delivering person-centred support that promotes safety, independence, and meaningful outcomes.

This role involves supporting a participant with complex behavioural support needs, implementing evidence-based strategies outlined in their Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP), and contributing to a safe, predictable, and positive support environment.

n

This role is ideal for experienced Support Workers seeking a specialist support opportunity where consistency, resilience, and behavioural support skills are highly valued.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Delivering person-centred support within the participant's home and community.
n
- Implementing and following Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and other support strategies.
n
- Promoting safety, independence, choice, and community participation.
n
- Responding confidently and professionally to complex situations whilemaintaininga calm and positive approach.
n
- Building positive relationships with the participant, their family, and the broader support team.
n
- Maintainingaccuratedocumentation and reporting.
n

About You

n

We'relooking for experienced Support Workers who understand the importance of consistency, professionalism, and relationship-based support.

n

You will bring:

n

n
- 2+ years' experience supporting people with disability, including participants with complex care and behavioural support needs.
n
- Demonstrated experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and working within a restrictivepracticesframework where applicable.
n
- The ability to remain calm, qualified, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
n
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
n
- A genuine commitment to human rights,



person-centred practice, and positive outcomes.
n
- Resilience, emotional maturity, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
n
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary support network.
n
- A willingness toparticipateinadditionaltraining and ongoing development to support the participant's needs.

- Present with complex behaviours of concern.

- Require intensive behavioural support.
