This specialist role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of building scopes, repair methodologies, and technical documentation across our operations.

As a key member of the business, you will provide expert technical oversight, support operational teams through quality assurance processes, and contribute to the delivery of compliant, practical, and cost-effective repair solutions.

About the Role
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

- Reviewing building scopes and repair methodologies to ensure they meet industry standards, insurer requirements, building regulations, and internal quality expectations.
n
- Providing technical guidance and support on complex repair strategies, tender reviews, specialist reports, and scope assessments.
n
- Evaluating technical documentation and construction recommendations to ensure repair outcomes are practical, compliant, and defensible.
n
- Preparing and reviewing detailed technical reports, recommendations, and scope validations.
n
- Collaborating with operational teams, estimators, supervisors, and stakeholders to achieve consistent and high-quality outcomes.
n
- Assisting with staff development through technical coaching, auditing, training support, and performance reviews.
n
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across processes, documentation standards, systems, and workflows.
n
- Supporting the business in maintaining exceptional quality assurance and risk management practices.
n

What You'll Bring
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
- Experience within the residential construction industry, with trade qualifications highly regarded (Carpentry preferred).
n
- Strong technical knowledge of residential building practices, including deconstruction, reconstruction, remediation, and repair works.
n
- Proven experience assessing repair methodologies and building defects within insurance, construction, or restoration environments.
n
- The ability to interpret specialist reports and translate technical findings into practical repair recommendations.
n
- Experience auditing, reviewing, and preparing detailed building scopes, reports, and technical documentation.
n
- Strong understanding of construction compliance requirements, relevant legislation, and industry standards.
n
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally.
n
- Advanced stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with clients, contractors, assessors, and internal teams.
n
- Experience supporting team capability through mentoring, training, quality reviews, and technical guidance.
n
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously and exercise sound professional judgement.
n
