Job Description

SNDA pty ltd is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our team in Caboolture, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with precision metalwork and contribute to high-quality fabrication projects. You will be responsible for welding aluminium components using various techniques, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. This role is essential to our operations, as skilled aluminium welders are integral to delivering reliable products to our clients.

What you'll be doing

n

Performing welding operations on aluminium materials using MIG, TIG and other approved welding processes

n

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications accurately

n

Preparing aluminium components and workpieces for welding, including cleaning and positioning

n

Inspecting finished welds for quality, durability and compliance with industry standards

n

Operating and maintaining welding equipment, ensuring tools are in protected working condition

n

Following all workplace health and safety procedures and protocols at all times

n

Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to meet production schedules

n

Identifying and reporting defects or issues that may affect product quality

n

Maintaining detailed records of work completed and materials used

n

What we're looking for

n

Current welding qualifications and certifications relevant to aluminium welding

n

Proven experience as an aluminium welder in a trades or manufacturing environment

n

Proficiency in MIG,



TIG and other appropriate welding techniques

n

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

n

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety practices

n

Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship

n

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

n

Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to the role

n

Physical capability to perform the demands of welding work, including standing for extended periods

n

Desirable: Experience with quality control testing methods and an understanding of aluminium metallurgy
