Senior Electrical Project Engineer (Studies)

n

ECG Engineering leads in Electrical Engineering for Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors worldwide. With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town, we design and deliver complex projects from early study to commissioning and handover.

We require a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join the project studies team, aiding in planning and delivering large complex international resource projects. This role suits engineering / construction professionals with 8–20+ years experience passionate about major project environments.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan, study and design electrical engineering packages for large mineral processing projects, both office and site.
n
- Integrate studies into construction, estimates and manpower forecasting.
n
- Work across Australia and worldwide, collaborating in a dynamic, multi‐project environment.
n

Ideal Key Experience

n

n
- Major mineral processing project experience (office and site).
n




- Construction experience with process and linkages understanding.
n
- Electrical engineering and plant package expertise.
n
- Strong cost control and reporting skillset.
n
- Experience in Project Controls, Planning & Estimating.
n

Skills and Attributes

n

- B Eng Electrical or equivalent.
n
- Excellent report writing and written communication.
n
- Cost control / reporting experience.
n
- Moderate to good Excel and Project Wise knowledge.
n
- Project Forecasting and Planning experience.
n
- Tendering and estimating experience.
n
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
n
- Ultra positive work attitude and organization criticality.
n
