We are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our team supporting the Barangaroo Precinct. This is a hands‐on role where you'll be based on‐site, maintaining and repairing public spaces, buildings, amenities and infrastructure throughout the Barangaroo foreshore and surrounding areas.

About The Role

n

Based primarily at Barangaroo, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair activities across the precinct, including:

n
- General carpentry and handyman works
n
- Building and facilities maintenance
n
- Repairs to doors, locks, fixtures and fittings

n
- Painting, patching and minor building works
n




- Inspection and rectification of maintenance issues
n
- Maintenance of public spaces and foreshore assets
n
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests
n
- Using mobile technology to manage work orders and reporting
n
- Working safely and maintaining high standards of presentation across the site
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n
- Demonstrated carpentry or handyman experience
n
- Experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance or construction
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Forklift licence
n
- Boat licence
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Valuable computer and mobile technology skills
n
- A proactive approach to Health & Safety
n

Additional Requirements

n
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Check
n
- Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
