About the Role
n
The successful applicant will: Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the EYLF. Observe, assess and document children's learning and development.
n
Create engaging learning environments. Support children's emotional, physical and social development. Build positive relationships with families.
n
Mentor and support educators. Participate in Quality Improvement Plan initiatives. Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
n
Promote child safety and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
Essential Requirements
n
Applicants must have: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
n
Current Working With Children Check.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain before commencement). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard. Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.

Desirable
n
Previous experience in long day care.
n
Experience with Storypark, OWNA or similar childcare software.
n
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
n
Experience mentoring educators.
n
